Let’s face it, today’s school and academic environment is not just challenging, it can be utterly exhausting for students to keep up with regular class requirements as well as scheduled standardized testing, extracurricular activities, club activities and volunteering.  Students struggle with that in order to stay on top of things.

These struggles that students face are not lost on parents, who feel and live the experiences of their children.

All parents want their children to succeed, however, school life and family life are not always compatible, one example is overlapping events/schedules by different individuals in the family unit itself.

These days, students are expected to do so much more and perform certain tasks at a much earlier age than the previous generation, yet, there is little help for students and their families to navigate through all the tasks that have to be accomplished.  Additionally, many adults measure their childrens’ performance with their yardstick not that the yardstick of their child(ren).  This can lead to conflicts and interruptions and to tasks not being accomplished, which in turn will lead to children being more stressed leading to more stressed parents while everyone is trying to keep up and keep the frustrations in check.

If you are a parent of a student or a student who struggles with the daily demands and feel like time is running away from you or you or the whole family feels like things are not going well, I can help.

While I do not tutor in subject areas per se, I can help students (and their family) stay focused, because I believe that in order for students to succeed, a holistic approach that includes the family unit is warranted to achieve balance in lives.

I will be your partner in this transformational journey, I will meet you where you are, literally, and we will figure out your goals and find ways to reach them.

In this process, we focus on family systems, executive functioning, routines and relaxing times among others, which I believe are sadly just some of the modalities students and families have unlearned to have due to daily demands.

As you partner in this journey, I will focus on your strengths and the coaching approach will be solutions focused and responsive to your needs, as you are the expert in your life, my job will be to iron out some of the obstacles that are standing in your way.
