Super easy salmon and cod with spicy tomato sauce on pasta
This is a very easy dish to prepare, takes a maximum of 20 minutes to bring everything together. It is very flavorful and just a bit spicy to give it some “zing” as we like to call it here. If you do not desire the spicy aspect of it, just leave out the cheyenne pepper from the sauce! It is also very light, yet, fills you up with good carbohydrates and lots of protein! Also, the sauce can be prepared in larger batches and then frozen for later use.
1 piece of cod (per person)
1 piece of salmon (per person)
species for the fish: salt, pepper, paprika
elbow macaroni (or any other pasta of that matter)
one can of tomatoes, pureed in blender
spices for the tomato sauce: salt, pepper, paprika, dash of cheyenne pepper, cumin, curry powder
Preparation:
Cook pasta of your choice in salt water with some oliver oil.
Meanwhile, season the fish and sear in olive oil until done
For the sauce, mix all ingredients together and then bring them to a quick boil and then simmer until the the fish and pasta are done.
